She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Tingen and Sadie Tingen; her husband Freddy Smith; and her siblings, Mavis Tingen Gurley, Dot Hathaway, Iris Ginn, Anna Ruth Tingen, Arnold "Red" Tingen, James Tingen and George Tingen.
She is survived by: her children, David Holton of Pollocksville and Lynne H. Eastman (George) of Morehead City; her siblings, Martha Lane of Smithfield and Kenneth Tingen (Hope) of LaGrange; her grandchildren, Asa Eastman, Holton Eastman and Amanda Holton; and her great grandchild AceLynne Eastman.
A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (215 Ann St, Beaufort, NC 28516).
