He was predeceased by: his parents, George Butler Taylor and Gertrude Adams Taylor; and his brothers, Plymouth Harding Taylor, Curtis Hoover Taylor and Louis Edmond Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Marie Combs Taylor; his children, Brenda Taylor Blevins (David) of Newport, Michael Ray Holmes (Ethel) of West Warwick, RI and Timothy Nathan Taylor (Loretta) of Broad Creek; his grandchildren, Michael Holmes, Jr., George Holmes, Howard Holmes, Tonya Holmes, Amanda Hansley Stephens, Brandon Hansley and Lauren Taylor; and his friend Jake. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
