He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy Bradsher Gill and Frederick Arthur Gill, Jr.; and his sisters, Nancy Gill Weaver and Elizabeth Gill Daniel. He is survived by: his wife Cheryll Saunders Gill of Morehead City; his daughters, Christi Gill Fig and Amy Gill Warren; his son-in-law Randy Warren; his grandchildren, Alexandra Kristine Fig, Chelsea Marie Guthrie, Mary Elizabeth Warren, Katherine Anne Warren, Emily Christine Warren and Robert Michael Warren; and his stepdaughter Michelle Cox (Lewis Cox).
