She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Willis and Ludoria Willis; her children, Nola Dare, Carson Lewis Sr. and Blake Lewis; and her grandson Carson Lewis, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Lois Hester (Anthony) of Gloucester, Violet Gillikin (Kyle) of Otway, Mitchell Lewis (Melinda) of Harkers Island, Jim "Scoochie" Lewis of Otway, Claude "Nook" Lewis of Gloucester and Grady Lewis of Florida; her brother Bob Willis of Broad Creek; and her daughters-in-law, Vera Nixon of Otway and Tina Lewis of Gloucester. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchild.
