With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephanie Francene Garrett of Morehead City, North Carolina, born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, who passed away on April 12, 2024 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by : her parents, Francis S. "Soupy" Mayer and Dorothy E. Mayer (Brown); her husband Kenneth Nelson "Punky" Garrett; her sister-in-law Barbara G. "Barbi" Mayer; and her nephew Scott Mayer.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Kaitlin Elise Nutter, Caleb Christopher Nutter, Kenleigh Grace Nutter and Alexander Allen Albaugh; her brothers, Mark J. Mayer (Debbie) of Lost Creek, WV, Frank W. "Bill" Mayer (Mary) of Clarksburg, WV and John J. Mayer of Milton, WV; her nieces and nephews, J. J., Mary Kendra Mayer, Jennifer Cogar, Jami O'Dell, Billy, Matthew, Hunter Mayer, Jeffrey, Patrick Mayer, Shawn Brown, Michael Davis, Chad and Charlie Garrett; and her pet Bella.
