He was predeceased by: his parents, Zero Manual Carswell and Eva Estelle Carswell; and his brother-in-law James Johnson. He is survived by: his siblings, Kelley Carswell (Judy), Ralph Carswell (Lisa Penley), Wayne Carswell, Arlean Williams (Bill) and Rose Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
