It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Duckworth Roberts (Morganton, North Carolina), who passed away on September 21, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hardy Duckworth and Gertie Norman Duckworth; and her sister Anne Wright. She is survived by: her husband Vernon Roberts; her daughter Tammy Roberts Preusse (Phil) of Roswell, GA; her grandson Clay Preusse (K. D. Lautzenheiser) of Nashville, TN; and her siblings, Leonard Duckworth (Frances), Katherine Head and Mary Garrison (Ned). She is also survived by numerous nephews and a niece.
