She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kanoy, Sr. and Jacqueline Kanoy. She is survived by: her husband Richard Stroupe; her sons, Keith Hartman of Morganton and Steven Craig Hartman (Cassie) of Morganton; her grandchildren, Kristen Townsend and Lucas Hartman; her brother Billy Kanoy (Paulette) of Morganton; and her uncle Don Sexton (Thelma) of Greensboro.
