She was predeceased by: her former husband Gregory Carreker, Sr.; and her daughter Caitlyn Truax. She is survived by: her parents, Lyle Dale Hoard and Ruth Ann Gensman Hoard; her husband Bryan Keith Truax; her children, Gregory Carreker, Jr., Bryan Truax, Jr. of Morganton, Kayla, Brittany Carreker and Ashley Truax of Gaffney, SC; and her siblings, Timothy Hoard and Shawn Ray. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
