She was predeceased by: her parent Fred Ernest Epley; and her sisters, Faye Pearson and Mary Smith. She is survived by: her parent Ruby Lee Yount Epley; her husband Samuel "Sam" Carico; her daughters, Crystal Sutton (Tim) of Morganton, Marcia Potts (Randy) of Morganton, Rita Hall (Gary) of Lenoir, NC and Elaine Bivens (Wayne) of Morganton; her grandchildren, Josh Hunt (Shelly), Andrew Cook, Cameron Cook, Alex Hall, Jamey Bivens, Jody Potts and Cody Sutton; her great grandchildren, Sydney Hunt, Ethan Hunt and Kaiden York; and her siblings, Jim Epley, Richard Epley, Bob Epley and Shirley Helms.
