She was predeceased by: her parents, Roysville Luther Carswell and Ruth Curtis Carswell; her husband Vernon Clifford Hudson; her grandson Bryce Everette Hicks; and her siblings, Freeman Carswell and Lela Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Hudson (Owonia), Kenneth Hudson and Susie Hudson Hicks; her grandchildren, Tyler Hudson, Jessica Hudson and Dawson Hicks; her great grandchildren, Knox Hudson, Emma McAllister and Hailey Hudson; and her brother Luther Carswell (Estelle). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
