It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Rutherford Lytle of Morganton, North Carolina, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on April 27, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Rutherford and Elizabeth Hardey Rutherford; her husband Norman Lytle; her daughter Shelia Farrar; and her brother Jack Rutherford.
She is survived by: her children, Hallie Jackson and George Jackson. She is also survived by three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
