He is survived by: his wife Shirley Dancey Arney; his children, Kenneth Arney (Alma) of Morganton, Becky Clontz (Harley) of Lenoir and Brenda Causby (Larry) of Morganton; his stepchildren, Dinah Whisnant (Ronnie) of Morganton and Barbara McClean (Glenn) of Morganton; his grandchildren, Leslie Clontz, Bradley Clontz, Derek Arney, Kenda Carpenter, Chris Arney and Tim Pritchard; his great grandchildren, Greyson Carpenter, Elizabeth Arney, Makenzie Carpenter and Callie Arney; and his sister Shirley Reece of Morganton.
