He is survived by: his wife Roxie Shuping Powell; his children, David Powell (Helen), Dana Felter, Donna Davis and Deana Medlin; his stepsons, Barry Powell, Terry Powell and Kelly Powell; his pet Sassie; and his sister Virginia Deal. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
