It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Kordelski Battersby (Morganton, North Carolina), who passed away on February 19, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Kordelski and Gladys Kordelski; and her former husband Robert "Bobby" Gebo. She is survived by: her husband Charles C. Battersby; her sisters, Louise Serra (Tim) of Preston, CT and Patti Kordelski of Mansfield, OH; her aunt Marie O'Connor of Canterbury, CT; and her children, Todd Gebo (Jamie) of Preston, CT, Robin Barrett (Michael) of Mystic, CT, Heather Wheeler (Brad) of Winter Garden, FL and Sarah McKee (Jerrod) of Hayesville, OH.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and numerous cousins.
