It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Whisnant (Morganton, North Carolina), who passed away on May 2, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Clark and Bonnie Buff Elmore; and her sister Linda Kimbrell. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Woody of Morganton, Carla Palmer (Todd) of Bethlehem and Shane Cook (Stephanie) of Valdese; her siblings, Dorothy Crane of Morganton, Renia Burkhart of Morganton, Jettie VanDyke of Morganton, Debbie Chapman of Tennessee, Sanford Clark of Morganton, Arthur Clark of Morganton and Steve Clark of Morganton; and her grandchildren, Rachel Palmer, Livia Palmer, Grace Priest, Garrison Cook, Haedyn Priest and Sarah Cook.
