He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Franklin and Clara Mae Lane Franklin; his wife Othenia Ollis Taylor; and his children, Charles Edison Taylor, Jr. and Wendy Leigh Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, April Taylor Randall (Marty) and Michael William Taylor (Kim); his granddaughter Savannah Lee Taylor; his siblings, Christine Robinson (Lowell) and Grier Franklin (Dorothy Barrier); his close friend Margo McFarlin; and his pet Puddin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the WPCC Community College Foundation in memory of Charlie Taylor.
