It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clay Tessneer (Morganton, North Carolina), who passed away on November 3, 2018, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Dave G. Tessneer; his wife Mary Elizabeth Hastings Tessneer; and his siblings, Ray Tessneer and Lucille Crowe. He is survived by: his parent Effie Beaver Tessneer; his daughter Betty Tessneer Riddle of Morganton; his grandchildren, Lemuel Guy Riddle (Cindy) and Lisa Riddle Kennedy (Bryan); his great grandchildren, Misty Clark Smith (Johnathan), Hobie Riddle (Elizabeth), Max Riddle and Ryan Kennedy; and his great great grandchildren, Aubrey Smith, Eli Smith, Hobie Riddle Jr. and Carmen Smith.
