She was predeceased by: her parent Ernest Smith; her husband Joseph Albert Dale; her son Joseph Bennet; her siblings, Clyde Smith, Paul Smith, Annie Ross and Minnie Ross; and her half-brothers, Hardie Garrison and Wilson Garrison.
She is survived by: her parent Ennie Carswell Smith; her children, Vernon Dale and Patsy Johnson; her daughter-in-law Catherine Dale; her half-sister Frances Mabe; her siblings-in-law, Brenda Garrison and William Ross; and also, Kitty and Harold. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
