He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Eugene Curry and Neva Grace Allen Smith; and his wife Magdalena Freitag Curry. He is survived by: his children, Susanne Saunders (Mickey) of Morganton, Angelika Dulaney of Morganton and David Curry, Jr. of Valdese; and his siblings, L. Curry and Connie Lee Hatter. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
