She was predeceased by: her father Chandler; her stepfathers, Fox and Jim Dotson; and her grandparents, Theo, Vesti Williams, Mamie Chandler and Clara Fox.
She is survived by: her mother Thelma Williams Dotson of Black Mountain; her stepbrothers, Larry Dotson (Sherry) of Asheville, Charles Dotson (Redina) of Asheville and Daryl Dotson (Shannon) of Asheville; and her niece Sandy Dotson Swink. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Due to Covid restrictions, a private service will be held for the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Diane to the J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center, Patient Accounts, 300 Enola Road, Morganton, NC 28655.
