She was predeceased by: her parents, Duke Farris and Pearl Morrow Farris; her husband Hoyle Queen; her son Dennis Queen; and her siblings, Irene Carroll, Nancy Bailey, George Farris and Ray Farris.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Butch Queen (Regina) of Petersburg, VA and Denise Queen Carswell (Mike) of Morganton; her brother David Farris of Morganton; and her grandchildren, Jeremiah McGalliard, Chris Queen and Tammy Collins. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
