It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elsie Tate Roper (Morganton, North Carolina), who passed away on March 24, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Roper and Ethel Puckett Roper; her brothers, William Alvin Roper, Glenn Ray Roper and Ned Joseph Roper; her sisters-in-law, Marie Roper and Rosemary Roper; and her nephew Carlos Joe Roper.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Kenneth Roper (Rachel), Benjamin Roper (Lisa), Janet Davis (Randy) and Lara Roper Wilson; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Danielle Wilson, Madison Wilson, Sarah Roper, Richie Roper and Will Davis; and also, Macy Rodriguez and Morgan Roper. She is also survived by her parents and brothers.
