It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elva Etta Brittain Strickland formerly of Morganton, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughters, Angela Beck and Mitzi Hendrix (Stan) of Morganton; her granddaughter Anna Hairfield (Frederik Winther); her great grandchildren, Jarred Stancil, Travis Stancil and Hannah Ferris; her granddaughter Heather Beck Lueft (Mikhail); her great grandchildren, Ella and Isabel; her granddaughter Jenny Beck; her great grandchild Patience Miller Giron (Josh); her granddaughter Lori Beck Rice (Josh); and her great grandchildren, Lily Kate and Easton.
