She was predeceased by: her husband L. G. Hamrick; and her siblings, Joe Mikeal, William Wallace Mikeal, Vestal Parton, Hazel Anderson, Lois Jones, Margie Braswell and Ruby Nelson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Hamrick (Robert Crawley) of Morganton and Anita Hamrick McFalls (Dean) of Morganton; her sisters, Mary Wilma Kent of Lenoir and Dottie McGalliard of Lenoir; and her daughters, Deanna Parks and Anna Moore. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
