It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank D. Fairchild of Morganton, North Carolina, who passed away on January 11, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe C. Fairchild and Hannah Poulson Fairchild; his former wives, Alice Frock Fairchild and Claudia Louise Keisling Fairchild; his granddaughter Heidi Suttles; and his brothers, Leslie and Roscoe Fairchild.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Cox Fairchild; his children, Karen D. Suttles (Kevin Ross) and Brian L. Fairchild (Kim); his stepchildren, Michelle Puckett (Eddie), Rodney K. Cox (Lisa), Robert Cox and Brian Cox (Jackie); his grandchildren, Jennings and Bryce Fairchild; his stepgrandchildren, Patrick, Andrew, Kevin, Ashleigh, Brandi, Ciara and Tangie; his great grandchild Olivia; his stepgreat-grandsons, Carson, Jack, Hudson and Conrad; his sister Nellie M. Clements; and his brother-in-law Roger Autrey (Cindy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
