It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Alan Benton (Morganton, North Carolina), who passed away on November 26, 2019, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Horace Perry Benton. He is survived by: his mother Linda Johnson Benton; his wife Karen Schawel Benton; his siblings, Jody Benton and Donna Lefevers (Ronnie); his niece Christy Lefevers; his great-nieces, Lauren and Riley Land; his stepchildren, Joshua Allen Callahan and Ashley Caitlyn Callahan; and his stepgrandchild Cloud Alexander Callahan.
