He was predeceased by: his parents, W. A. Golightly and Florence Singleton Golightly; his children, Steven Golightly and Dorcas Beasley; and his siblings, Lester, Vernon, Kenneth Golightly, Evelyn Abee and Elma Clontz.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Elizabeth Martin Golightly; and his son Martin Golightly. He is also survived by three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
