George William Lane Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George William Lane (Morganton, North Carolina), born in Meyersdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 25, 2019 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Lee Doyle Lane; his brother Donald Imhoff; and his grandparents, Albert and Lily Lane. He is survived by: his children, Mike Lane (Melanie) of Garrett, PA, Craig Lane (Lori) of Garrett, PA, Scott Lane (Leslie) of Morganton, Kathryn Kegley (Mike) of Winston-Salem, Larry Espinosa (Kim) of Winston-Salem and Laura Pence (Chris) of King, NC; his grandchildren, Olivia Lane, Samantha Lane, Abigail Lane, Ellie Lane, Jessica Ponce (Ramiro), Sara Corriher Johnson (Chris), Lucas Espinosa (Alyssa), Adam Yarbourough and Hunter Furr; his great grandchildren, Brinlee Lane, Miguel Ponce, Romeo Ponce and Kathryn Ponce; his siblings, John Imhoff, Guy Imhoff and Gale Strope; and his pet Pepper. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
