She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Stamey and Maxine Stamey; her husband Jimmy Stout; and her brothers, Elbert and Frank Stamey.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Riddle (Jerry) of Spruce Pine and Kenny Church of Morganton; and her siblings, Evena Stamey of Ellenton, Florida and Nelson Stamey (Ginny) of Coos Bay, Oregon. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
