He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Moses and Minnie Moses Epley; his wife Gladys Patton Moses; his son Jeffrey Ray Moses; his grandchildren, Shanda Smith and Cody Davis; his siblings, Bill Moses, Claude T. Moses and Beulah Norville; and his stepfather George Epley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dianne Sparks (Dirk) of Morganton, Debbie Bess (Mel) of Connelly Springs and Donna Davis (Randy) of Morganton; his daughter-in-law Pam Moses of Morganton; his grandchildren, Danya Costner Moody (Nick Miller), Nathaniel Jackson (Amy), Matthew Davis, Amanda Moses Hewitt (J. P.) and Samantha Moses Lowdermilk (Jonathan); his great grandchildren, Brandon Moody, Jr., Shawn Moody, Ethan Miller, Kennedy Jackson and Jaxtyn Lowdermilk; his sister-in-law Viola Moses; and his stepbrother Allen Epley. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
