He is survived by: his parent Lizzie Ervin; his wife Evelyn Cuthbertson Ervin; his children, Fannie Laverne Davenport (Leslie), Robert Ervin and Jessie Ervin; his grandchildren, Sean A. Ervin, Mary Ervin, Marius Harshaw, Isaiah Ervin and Nicholas Davenport; and his siblings, Sadie Mae Max, Sophie Jean Pearson, Margaret Pearson, Connie Caldwell, Jeanette Norwood and Harry Ervin. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild.
