He is survived by: his daughters, Leigh Ann Jarvis-Hurley (Eric) of Morganton, Stacey Jarvis Smith of Morganton and Diana Poteet of Morganton; his grandchildren, Eli Patton, Savannah Smith (Nathan Deir), Fletcher Smith, David Poteet (Chelsey) and Natalie Poteet; and his siblings, Edward Jarvis (Cindy), Janice Menscer (Dwaine) and Peggy Johnson.
