He is survived by: his spouse Ruby Gibby; his daughter Debra Gibby Reece (Kelly); his grandchildren, Dustyn Reece (Cameron Fisher), Jara Reece Seagle (Greg), Landon Reece (Charity Abernathy), Logan Reece (Emily Buchanan) and Quinn Reece; his great grandchildren, Caden Reece of Morganton, Bryson Seagle of Morganton, Graylin Reece of Morganton, Elizabeth Fisher of Morganton, Austin Fisher of Morganton, Tristan Hildebran of Morganton, Hunter Seagle of Morganton and Karigan Seagle of Morganton; his siblings, Bill Gibby (Dahn), Patricia Norville and Donna Whisnant (Jason); his nieces and nephews, Devin Poteet, Robbie Gibby, Jincy Gibby, Maggie Gibby, Terri Ollis and Deana Gates; his uncle Cloyd Curtis (Betty); his aunt Ettalee Gibby; his friends, Kenny Roark, Bill Brooks, Jim Yount, Denny Powell, Charles Wright, Trossie Wall, Albert Deal, Lewis Rector, Norman Huffman and Charlie Anthony; and also, Randy Curtis (Linda), Robin Curtis (Terri), Kathy Martin (Steve) of Anderson, SC and Larry Rathburn (Karen).
