It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jimmy Cook of Morganton, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on January 28, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. McOvie Larn Cook and Darles Poole Cook; and his grandson David Allen Parlier. He is survived by: his children, Karen Jean Miller (Ricky Walker) of Connelly Springs, April Cook Docalavich (Travis) of Newton and Stevie Dean Cook of Concord; his siblings, Martha Austin of Blowing Rock, Jane Lail of Lawndale, Ann Pruett of Lawndale and Michael Cook of Casar; and the mother of his children Jean Pugh of Conover. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions social distancing and masks will be required.
