She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Fisher and Effie Fisher; her husband Neal Lipe; her children, Clark Lipe and Mona Cornwell; and her siblings, Irene Bowers, Elizabeth Giles and Clyde Fisher.
She is survived by: her siblings, Virginia Propst, Ben Fisher and Louis Fisher; her grandsons, Neal Cornwell of Asheville and Graham Cornwell of Asheville; her nieces and nephews, Pam Franklin of Morganton, Jean Banner of Morganton, Lynn Clark of Morganton, Tammy Propst, Charlotte, Gail Hamrick, Sharon Fisher, Shelby, Dawn Buirley of La Verne, CA, Marie Buonopane of San Diego, CA, Donald Propst and Ernie Giles; and her son-in-law David Cornwell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Haywood Street Congregation of Central United Methodist Church, Asheville.
