It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Margie May (Morganton, North Carolina), who passed away on February 13, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Leonard and Edna Gilbert Leonard; her husband Carl T. May; her son Tommy Allen May; her siblings, Steele, Jack Leonard, Helen Ramsey and Betty Tallent; and her son-in-law Dean Burnette.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Burnette, Jimmy May (Melody) and Dennis May; and her grandchildren, Brandon Burnette, Brooke Walker, Chris May, Mackenzie May, Ashley Lowery, Samantha Killian, Alexandria May and Sheyanne May. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
