We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2020, at the age of 77, Joe Helton of Morganton, North Carolina, born in Lenoir, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Helton and Ollie Mae Price Helton; his children, Danny Jo Helton and Jo Deana Helton; his granddaughter Deborah Ann Helton; and his siblings, Carolyn Barker and Wallace Helton.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Lentz Helton; his son Darrin A. Helton (Kelly) of Marion; his siblings, Joyce Beard of Hickory, Doris Mellon of Lincolnton, Bruce Helton of Hayes and Bill Helton of Newton; and his grandchildren, Ashton, Ayden, Jacob and Benjamin Helton.
