He was predeceased by: his brothers, Ray Benton and James "Jim" Benton. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Benton; his children, Johnathan Benton and Angela Benton; his grandchild Eli Randolph; and also, Brenda Williams, Jane Agurie, Margaret Kincaid, Eva Crowder, Paul Benton and Carl Benton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
