He was predeceased by: his son James Cannon. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Lingle Cannon; his children, Cristy Bost (Dan) of Morganton and John Cannon (Jennifer) of Connelly Springs; his siblings, Joe Cannon (Myrtle), Billy Cannon (Wanda) and Judy Cannon; and his grandchildren, Angel Barnett and Jeremiah Bost.
