He is survived by: his wife Frances Buff; his children, Bobbie Tolbert of Morganton, Jennifer McDaniel (Toky) of Lynchburg, VA and Michelle Buff of Morganton; his siblings, Ernest Buff of Morganton, James Buff (Mary Ann) of Morganton, Paul Buff (Christine) of Morganton, Dean Buff (Sandra) of Morganton, Ann Hughes (Richard) of Marion, NC, Thelma Franklin (Michael) of Morganton and Judy Carswell of Morganton; and his son-in-law Harvey Carpenter. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
