It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Milligan of Morganton, North Carolina, who passed away on May 22, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Melvin Milligan and Mary Edith Denton Milligan; his wife Ruth Elizabeth Brotherton Milligan; and his siblings, Geneva Milligan Sprouse and Loy Milligan.
He is survived by: his sons, Roy Milligan, Ralph Milligan (Peggy) and Tony Milligan (Marsha); and his siblings, Ruth Milligan Burleson, Betty Milligan Huffman (Paul), Susie Milligan Dockery and Leon Milligan. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
