Joy Obia Vance Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2020, at the age of 88, Joy Obia Vance (Morganton, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville "Bill" Fender and Elva Smith Fender; her husband Leon Vance, Sr.; and her grandson Zavia Tate. She is survived by: her children, Phillip Vance (Claudia), Rucker Vance (Tina), Angie Holman, Melody Coffey (Gary) and Bo Vance (Kathryn). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and three sisters.
