She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Lingerfelt and Edith Lingerfelt; and her former husband Rev. Richard Jimmy Brittain, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Richard Jimmy Brittain, Jr. and Aaron Matthew Brittain; her husband Jimmy Lee Brittain; and her brothers, Don Lingerfelt and Charles Lingerfelt (Merlene). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Baptist Church.
