She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Ingram and Vernice Ingram; her husband Ben Whisnant; her son Paul Whisnant; and her granddaughter Liz Dalmas Lloyd.
She is survived by: her children, Tina Conley (Charles) and Scott Whisnant (Dana) of Morganton; and her grandchildren, Neil Dalmas (Ashley) of Frisco, TX, Alison Saville (Steve) of Knoxville, TN and Adair Cates (Chris) of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by five great grandchildren and numerous close family friends.
