He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Fritz, Hulda Hauck, Nettie and Buford Carver; his father Kerwin Louis Schulze; his nephew Randall Woody; and his pets, Scooter and Stitch.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Powell Schulze; his daughter Le-Ann Schulze of Morganton; his sisters, Donna Woody of Morganton and Gale McNeil; his nephew Kevin Woody of Morganton; and his half-brother Kerwin Louis Schulze II. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.
