With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Raylene Buchanan of Morganton, North Carolina, who passed away on October 25, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Buchanan and Grace Ledford Buchanan; and his siblings, Mary Emma Ollis, Donald, Roger, Arthur and Guy, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Burleson Buchanan; his sons, Tommy Buchanan (Jody) of Morganton and Jeff Buchanan (Brandy) of Morganton; his sisters, Margaret Shuford of Vale, Mildred Smith of Baton and Becky Hice of Baton; his grandchildren, Zachary Buchanan, Avery Buchanan, Shelby Buchanan and Carson Hurt; his great grandchildren, Cayleigh Buchanan, Harlan Buchanan and Waylon Harbison; and his stepgrandchildren, Zeppeline Hefner and Melody Gatch. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
