He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Poteet McDaniel; his children, Mike McDaniel, Jeff McDaniel (Janet), Vicki Crouch (Jimmy) and Ruth Ann Connor (Eric); his grandchildren, Dylan McDaniel, Zachary McDaniel and Celia Connor; and his sister Kay Pace (David).
