Wanda Whisnant wrote a sympathy message

“Aunt Lillie was a good woman. She was a wonderful preacher's wife and mother, and loving and caring to everyone. Although she was the youngest in your family, she took care of her four older brothers. During WWII her faithful writing letters to my dad meant so much to him. She was a gracious person. I remember once she visited us and insisted my mother rest while she did the dishes. Lillie would spend nights in the home of a deceased family member, which was appreciated by the grieving family. She was an endearing person and I am sorry she is gone. Deepest sympathies from the Whisnant family.”
