He was predeceased by: his son Jeff Powell; and his siblings, Robert Powell, Ron Powell and Mary Duckworth. He is survived by: his wife Carrie White Powell; his children, Ernie Powell (Kathy), Michael Powell, Douglas Powell, Tammy Cannon (Mark), Susan Ingram (Ken), Doris White (Danny) and Janie Roberts; and his brother Wayne Powell. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
